Nessa lição o objetivo é aprender sobre alguns artigos, botando na prática em situações de rumor ou fatos.

1 . Pense em três coisas que você tem certeza que são verdadeiras. Agora, pense em outras três que podem ser ou não verdadeiras. Que palavras você usaria para distingui-las em português?

2 . Quase sempre, ao comentarmos um boato, falamos que o ouvimos em algum lugar, mas não dizemos onde ouvimos ou quem nos contou. Observe estas frases. Separe a parte da frase que indica um boato.

1 Well, I’ve heard that she’s sold her house.

2 They say that he’s looking for a new job.

3 The word is they’re moving to Australia.

4 She’s going to have a baby. Well, that’s the rumour.

5 Did you hear that Sarah and Tim are getting married next June?

6 There’s a rumour going round that the company is in trouble.

Grammar: Determiners a, an, the

Lembre-se: usamos the para falar sobre coisa ou pessoa específica. Usamos a ou an quando estamos falando de algo indeterminado.
