Grammar: would rather
Usamos would rather + verbo no infinitivo para expressar uma preferência. Normalmente usamos a forma reduzida na fala.
She would rather have a black coat than a red one.
Você pode usar would like para expressar um desejo. É mais cortês do que usar want.
I’d rather have tea than coffee.
They’d rather go by train.

3 . Você ouvirá três pessoas falarem sobre suas preferências. Decida o que cada uma delas prefere.

Grammar: would
Você pode usar would like para expressar um desejo. É mais cortês do que usar want.
I would like to go and work in America.
I would like another cup of coffee.
