● A palavra dotcom vem dos endereços comerciais da Internet; “.com” no fim de um endereço eletrônico “www” pronuncia-se dotcom. Pessoas que estabeleceram negócios bem-sucedidos de comércio eletrônico são conhecidas como dotcom millionaires.
● A expressão from rags to riches descreve alguém que se tornou muito rico, mas que no início era muito pobre. O título do artigo inverte a ordem da expressão.

used to para expressar um hábito ou alguma coisa que fazíamos no
passado e que já não fazemos. Used to precede a forma base do verbo.

My friends used to call me Bill, but now they call me William.
We used to go to France every year for our holidays.
Não existe forma presente de used to. Essa forma só é usada para descrever o passado.
