Substantivos contáveis

A maioria dos substantivos em inglês é contável e tem plural.

house → houses
apple → apples
car → cars

Substantivos não-contáveis

Alguns substantivos são sempre, ou quase sempre, usados no singular. São os substantivos não-contáveis. Alguns exemplos comuns são:
