Perguntas

Existem dois tipos principais de perguntas.

1 Perguntas de Yes / No

Estas perguntas podem ser respondidas com yes ou no. Elas começam com um verbo auxiliar (ex.: can ou do).

A: Can I help you?
B: Yes, you can.

A: Do you sell train tickets?
B: Yes, I do.

A: Can you come to dinner on Saturday?
B: No, I’m sorry, I can’t.

A: Do you work in an office?
B: No. I don’t.

2 Perguntas com Wh-

Estas perguntas presumem mais informações. Elas começam com um pronome interrogativo (ex.: How, When,Who, What, Where).

A: How much are the grapes?
B: They’re £2 a kilo.

A: When are you going to London?
B: I’m going this afternoon.

A: Who is she?
B: She’s my sister.

A: What are you doing?
B: I’m watching TV.

A: Where is the office?
B: It’s in that building across the street.
