Nesta aula de nosso curso online de inglês, você aprenderá sobre como se candidatar a uma vaga de emprego e o que dizer em uma entrevista.

1. Você ouvirá um rapaz em uma entrevista. Ouça o áudio com atenção e acompanhe o diálogo abaixo:

Interviewer: How do you do, Thomas? Do sit down.

Thomas: Thanks.

Interviewer: Just a few basic questions to start off with. Your full name is…

Thomas: Thomas Guy Wood.

Interviewer: Fine. And I see I have your address and telephone number. Your post code?

Thomas: NE52 4EU

Interviewer: Thanks. And if there are no full-time jobs available, can you work part time until a full-time job comes up?

Thomas: Yes, I think so.

Interviewer: Good. Now when are you available to work? As you know, we are open seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day.

Thomas: Any time really. I mean, I don’t mind working nights.

Interviewer: Ok. That’s great. And when can you start?

Thomas: From the first of August. I’m on holiday in July.

Interviewer: And are you still at school or college?

Thomas: I’m at school. I finish school in July and then I start college next year in October.

Interviewer: I see – your gap year then.

Thomas: Yes, that’s right.

Interviewer: And are you available fot he whole of your gap year?

Thomas: Yes. I want to work and save money for college.

Interviewer: I see. Now, do you have any work experience?

Thomas: Yes. I work on Saturdays for my father.

Interviewer: Oh, yes. What does he do?

Thomas: He is the manager of a boat hire company. I help look after the boats – clean them and so on. I also look after the customers sometimes if my father is busy.

Interviewer: I see. How do you do that?

Thomas: Well sometimes I show them the different boats they can hire – for day trips and holidays and so on.

Interviewer: Very interesting. And do you enjoy that?

Thomas: Very much. It’s better than cleaning the boats!

Interviewer: Yes, I expect it is. Now why do you want to work for Freshco?…
